Community, Education & Outreach

The CE&O Council focuses on ways to benefit our community. This Council provides grants to music programs in our schools, supports community charities, and provides educational programs.

Grants to K-12 Music Programs »

The CE&O Council of the WUCF offers two levels of funding for Seattle area public schools to support their music programs: The Gendler Grants Program ($5,000 – $20,000); and the Music Counts! Grants Program ($500; occasionally more). Both grants are offered annually, and the applications forms for these grants are available on the website at the beginning of each school year.

Charitable Outreach »

The CE&O Council supports 501(c3) charitable organizations and activities throughout the year, including a Holiday Charity which is selected annually.

Public Programs »

The CE&O Council sponsors programs for the community that are both educational and entertaining. These events are free and open to the public.
